DLC Content Sharing

Hi, hope you are well

In a nut shell; me and my brother used to share all DLC content, mostly paid half each for things etc. We both had gold accounts on the xbox.

Now he has moved out and got his own xbox and redeemed his account on that, therefore we now have two xbox's with an account on each.

Is there a way that I can get the DLC stuff to his xbox so he can play it, and still play against me. For example I have all the blackops 2 DLC's, can he get that onto his xbox? And also can we play on the DLC (zombies etc.) against each other?

Or would he have to rebuy it all on his account now we do not share the same xbox?

Ideally I want all the DLC on his box, and all the DLC on my box then play together.

Also could I just redeem my account on his box, download the content, then put my account back on mine? or is that frowned upon?

If you are sharing a console then you should have access to the game and DLC content that the original purchaser shares with you. In game content (if any) such as skins, etc. will not be available.

licence transferring

No it is not meant for sharing dlc

it is to transfer licenses for the owner of the account not giving content to others

yes that means license transfers are all or nothing

When you purchase content it's tied to the gamertag it was purchased on as well as the console it was purchased on. the console license is what allows you to share content when you're on the same console. You could perform a license transfer on his console
so he has access to the content, but you will have to be signed in at all times on your console in order to use the content. However, the license transfer tool is really only meant to be used if you purchase a new console and need to move your licenses to
that new console. It's not necessarily meant to be used to share content like that.

Frankly what you're asking would constitute Marketplace theft and fraud. Both of these things would get both consoles banned for life.

If you both want the DLC you will both have to pay for it.

You can share somethings wiith certain games, for example, the dlc contented for the witcher 3 is sharable, but you can not share things like characters in killer instinct, story content is sharable, but online content is not
