DLC codes wont work

I had a number of DLC codes that wont work these are all included with new games which are for maps for the game they where included with

used chat and was told the codes where all ok but kept getting invalid code from my 360 console and when trying online via a pc I got

"Something went wrong

Give it another try. If this happens again, let us know by entering the code below at xbox.com/errorhelp so we can investigate."

microsoft credit codes all work ok

any one else getting this problem

yes account region is correct they are all uk codes spent over an hour on chat with support yesterday told they will call me back today tried all sorts of things they told me to do but still codes wont work these are all new and sealed codes so should work

Were the codes activated at the point of purchase? There's not much anyone can do to help you here. You should continue dealing with phone support for assistance with this.

 

Did you buy the games and dlc codes from the internet ?

Dlc codes must match the region of the account for them to work

 

DLC codes where included with a new game

they where for extra maps to that game

 

As ngocphi has already asked, did you buy the games online? Are they from a region (country) that is different from yours? If you did, this could be the problem because dlc codes can be locked to only the region that they came from.

 

all are uk games used and bought in the uk

 

UK games but is your account region UK?

Your physical region has to be UK too not German or France

Xbox live regions goes by countries not continents and they must be the same

 

Also, what are the games that the codes came with?

 

Forza motorsport 3 still not working

aliens now working after contacting sega

all accounts regions ect are UK

all codes where new and sealed included with the game they where supplied with

 

All Forza 3 content was removed from the marketplace in August of 2013. That is why your codes don't work. The dlc does not exist anymore. All support for Forza 3 has ended. You could try contacting Turn 10 (the developers of Forza) to see if there is
any way to be compensated but you are probably out of luck.

I don't know but all it took was a quick Google search to find it out.
