    DLC Codes - Purchase Mismatched Market and Language


    Hi,

    I'm trying to download the Gears of War collection using redeemable codes that come with the Hong Kong version of Gears or War 4.

    I bought my console in Korea and I'm now living in Beijing, China.

    I set my console's region to Hong Kong but I am unable to use the download codes.

    I keep getting the error Xbox Purchase Mismatched Market and Language.

    Any idea why I can't use my codes or how I can fix this?

    I got this problem: Xbox Purchase Mismatched Market and Language. I,ll changed the language from spanish (my language) to english in setting, and nothing happens, I tried several times but nothing seems to work.

    Error redeem gears of war promotional codes

    I purchase an xbox with gears of war 4 bundled, now i already received the codes for the previous versions but only be able to redeem 2 of the four. the 2 remain (gears of war and gears of war 3) give me the error xbox purchase mismatched market and language,
    but In my account configured English and USA and still fail. But I already check with an agent in the xbox chat support and he direct me to this forum. He o so tell me that confirm that my codes are active.

    Wont help you much even getting rhe disk you can get the disk no garentee all the codes will work if you continue to mismatch your region

    The game is region specific

    Dlc by treyarch is always region locked and usually language locked too

    the language of DLC is determined by your region of your account and also where you purchase the code from

    skyrim DLC is not language switchable unless the region supports multiple languages and then limited to the offically supported languages

    One problem.richie it's a xbox 360 game not.a xbox one game

    And blackops 2 is region and language locked

    Downloading a different language will incur the language .lock if.he tries.and get the.dlc

    Black ops 1-2 has a language lock if they use the wrong language disk or game.and download the region locked dlc the dlc is.locked with language of.the region downloading.a different region dlc will cause the language mismatch error (frpm.the 360 days )

    It's.the only language locked game

    Xbox games weren't language independent till xbox one games but.doesn't apply retroactively

    And most bc titles are region locked most.famously cod games

    @op you can't change it.unless you are in a region that supports the language.you are requesting like us English you must.be in the us

    And you would.have to. make .the.correct purchase

    Had no problem with my AT version. But the german and AT versions are 100% identical! The AT version has USK18 on the disk.
