DLC codes do not work

    DLC codes do not work


    I have owned a copy of Forza 3 on X360 since launch but hadn't until last week scratched off or redeemed the DLC.

    The card does not have any sort of expiry date on but on entering any of the codes I get a message saying 'Code not found. Try re-entering it. If that does not work, please contact the merchant.'

    They have been entered fine and Xbox Support verified they are active and said I have to go back to where I bought it (nearly 10 years ago) and ask them to scan it. Apparently it should have been scanned when I bought
    it. I have not had this problem with DLC codes before.

    I asked him how could a store could scan a code if was covered in silver that needed to be scratched off and was inside a sealed game case but he didn't reply and disconnected.

    Is there anything MS can do?

    Hi if the code can't be found or hasn't been activated you would have to contact the people that sold it to you.

    Hello, Even though it doesnt state it some of the DLC content is not avail if not used in a very long time. I found this out the hard way with Destiny....my son tried to redeem a code that he never knew he had and it had been a year after the game was
    purchased. He could not redeem at all.

    It's actually not an issue with the code itself, but the DLC. The DLC for that game was delisted a while ago so it's no longer available for download.

    Where did you redeem the code, console or website? If website try the console, and if console, then try the website instead. Make sure your account is set to the same region you are based in as well.
