DLC available, full game is not?

Hello,

new user here. I'm aware that some games might not be available to download on Marketplace at certain locales. But right now I don't understand how this works, because, for example, I cannot purchase GTA 5, but I can purchase all the DLC for it. This is
a problem with quite a few games that supposedly are available for purchase at my locale. Can someone explain, how this is possible? Or am i simply not getting something here?

I had it even worse. The full game is not available in my country but for some reason the DLC is. I bought the dlc also thinking it was the full game. I do not understand how they can make the dlc available but not the full game.

Then I'm very sorry but it seems as though the DLC to unlock the full game is not available in your country yet.

Without knowing what region you're in it's a little difficult to fully check, even though the full game may not be available for purchase from the marketplace for whatever reason, the disc version is probably available. So you would still be able to purchase
DLC for the game.

Sometimes the way games are released really doesn't make sense. For example, Hitman: Blood Money is not available for purchase from the marketplace in Canada, but is available on disc. So the game itself has been released in that country, just not digitally
for some reason.

No, the game is not a DLC, it is a full game available to buy at the link Christopher gave you.

Your confusion likely stems from the fact that the Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition DLC that was advertised in the spring sale is just that, DLC. It is not the full game.

SSF4AE was made available in two versions:

There is a full version of SSF4AE that is available on disc and on GoD.
There is a DLC version of SSF4AE that is an ADD-ON to Super Street Fighter 4.

The add-on DLC was originally released so that players who owned SSF4 could just purchase the DLC to upgrade their copy of the game to SSF4AE instead of purchasing a whole new copy of the game.

Over the holiday season, the full GoD version of SSF4AE was on sale. For the spring sale, just the upgrade DLC for SSF4 -> AE is on sale.

It sounds like you purchased the DLC. As such, you will need to own a copy of Super Street Fighter 4 in order to use the DLC.
