    Divorced Parents-One Daughter

So, I'm the father, and the gamer. I have an Xbox One and I have my daughter's account all set up on my xbox one. She has her own Gold Subscription, but she's still under me for the "Family"

The ex, seeing how open our daughter is when gaming, decided to get one for her as well.

Can I set up her xbox so that my daughters profile will use the mothers xbox as her "home" xbox? Will her being in my "family" create any issues? She has a child account, is it possible to disconnect her from the "family" but keep restrictions in place for
    her?

    :)

My parents divorced and I don't know my dads password, and my mom doesn't either. We cant contact him, so I can't accept terms of use. What should I do?

As far as I know, this shouldn't be a problem - you can set the mother's Xbox as the daughter's "home" without issue. The family settings should remain in place, with your account as the parent in the family.

Ok...I've been trying to purchase games with my daughters account so that she'll have them connected with her profile, so when she puts her mothers xbox as the "home" xbox, she should be able to download those with no issues. That's how it should work correct?

  6. Correct. Anyone can play the games purchased by an account on the console designated as "home" by the account. Additionally, the account that owns the content can download and play the games they own on any Xbox One, provided that they are actively logged
in to Xbox Live with their account.

I would like to add another option though, and it depends on your relationship with your ex.

If you were to speak to the mother and set your gamertag as the Home gamertag on her console you would still be able to use your parental controls and any games you purchase on your account would be playable by her on the other console.

This might be the easiest option considering the circumstances.

But you can only have 1 Home Xbox designated to an account. So my console is my home Xbox, I couldn't also have her Xbox1 designated as my Home account...wouldn't that create issues when I was playing on my console?

You basically will set have her set her Xbox as your home and you will set your xbox as her home. As Onyx stated - it all depends on your relationship withy our ex.
