Divorced co-parent and Family activity reports

I am recently divorced and my ex and I are both organizers of our Family account over our kids. While I like the Family Activity reporting, I feel like it gives too much opportunity for my ex to monitor (and basically spy) on the time our kids have at my house. If I turn it off, can the other organizer turn it back on? Or do I have to remove them? I was trying not to remove them as an organizer but when the kids are with the other parent, it complicates them being able to approve games, extended screentime, and adding money to their account. If removing the other parent is the only way to have my time with my kids private, then so be it. Just trying to see what my options are because nothing else covers this grey area.

    :)

Hi and thanks for reaching Microsoft Xbox gamer's community. My name is Josef.
I'm an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft Xbox user like you.

Hope you're doing great today despite this Glitchedsky

You could try re-add your ex account but as a member, in that way she/he can't modify or change the family group settings.
If maybe that's not an option for you, the next step will be remove your ex's account from the group

If you maybe have further questions feel free to ask, greetings from another Microsoft user

If the xbox at their moms has your account and is set to Home Xbox, then all the kids accounts on the xbox will be given access to Xbox Live Gold as well as all appropriate game titles.

For the 5 year old if an account was made for them they would have access as well, or they could use a siblings account

If your account is their home xbox it will not be required to signed in for them to play your games, so you could still play together on the games you love :)

I really hope this helps you!

    Hello Dustin,

We understand that you would like to enjoy time playing with your kids through the Xbox One console while using the same account, or at least your checking in to see if this can be done.

To this, we recommend the following how to designate an Xbox One console as your home Xbox support article, which will include creating
a new account but this process would allow you to share the content from the original account to an Xbox One console of your choosing.

Try following this and let us know if this works.

    Best wishes!

As long as you have their console set as your Home, they can share your games and play online with their own accounts so you can play with them at the same time.

If you continue to let the 5 year old use your account, you will not be able to sign in at the same time on your account. It would actually be better to create an account for them.

Family/Parent/Child Accounts and Games for Divorced Family - across 2 Xbox Ones

When my x-wife tried this she got "child already in a family" message or something similar. From what I read if I add my x-wife to "the family" then she can join and then delete me as a member of the family. Is this correct? I think somebody needs to clarify
for every divorced member out there exactly how each parent can have all of their kids on each of their accounts without the other parent seeing their information and credit card data. Thanks.
