"Divinity" on the XBox 360 was an acceptable distraction that could be enjoyed when there was nothing else to play.

Quite impressive that a game people have never heard of has received such high praise.

No gameplay footage is never a good sign but hopefully it will be good.

Since in "The Witcher 3" the only role you're really gonna be able to play is "Geralt the Witcher"... well this Gen is still starved for a decent RPG.

 

More remakes! This is great news!

I don't think this is the same game that was on the 360 but rather the same series.

Made by Larian Studios who made "Divintiy II" for the XBox 360.

This is not the same game as Divinity II. The game has been out on PC for awhile.

 

This is a turned based tactical rpg and nothing like Divinity II: Ego Draconis.

It's the same style of game as Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter Nights and Dragon Age: Origins. Don't know if I'd describe them as turn based.

It's not grid turned based like Civ which may be what some people are picturing when I made that statement but it's a tactical turned based rpg to the PC crowd like the games you mentioned as opposed to a Diablo style action rpg.

I posted before I clicked on your link and the link is disturbing. It looks like this may be a very different game than we had on the PC which may be a good thing for some people but the fact they are releasing a "new" version for the PC ( for free ) has
me concerned that the game I currently own will become the console version.

 

I Kickstarted this game and haven't touched it yet. Im glad its coming to other platforms.

@Randver The console version will be the same as the free version. On PC you will own two separate games. You can't even transfer saves between the two games as the have changed the story and the ending for the new version.

After I clicked on the link I went to the forums and the devs already had a sticky explaining how it was going to work. I apparently wasn't the only one that was concerned.
