    Distortioned Screech in my Man O War 7.1 headset


    So I apologize if this is the wrong forum to post in if so I hope a mod will help me and move it to the correct one.

    As the title says there is a horrible screeching noise that sounds distorted coming from my new headset. I've checked the headset on my PC and phone and have had no complications except when on my Xbox one. I've tried hard resetting my Xbox updating my controllers
    (2) yet the problem still persists. Any other suggestions?

    Pretty sure it will be supported. I know my Tritton 720+ 7.1 Surround Headset is supported.

    Are you able to bring your headset to a friend's house and test it out on their console to see if you experience the same issue there? That, plus the steps you mentioned you've already tried, basically exhaust the basic troubleshooting we can give. You'll
    want to reach out to Razer Support for assistance with their product.

    Post update: Turns out Xbox uses digital audio and the man o war is analog, and since none of the ports were used long enough for anything to completely break. Now that it has had time and I'm using only digital headsets, it is fixed.
