Distorted image when playing BF1

Hey all, I wonder if anyone else has experienced strange distorted images when playing BF1 since the new DLC came out? The whole screen when playing a multiplayer match goes distorted. I have images in my capture feed which you are all welcome to view to
see what I mean. Everything was fine until I DL the new DLC. At first it only effected the DLC maps and not the original maps. But lately, even when I play the original maps, it does the same thing. Its almost like its half way between the black screen problem!
Its making playing the multiplayer impossible!

Any help or suggestions would be great. And if you cant see my captures, can someone tell me how I upload those images to this thread please?

Does this mean I own the game via Games with Gold or not?

Hi,

On your console, go to My Games and Apps. On the left hand side look for 'Gold' as in the picture below.

If yours is like mine, then you own Battlefield One as a GwG title. Remember though, to keep playing this game - and other Xbox One GwG titles, you need an active subscription. Only 360 GwG titles are free games.

Because I've been playing BF1 on EA access, this game also appears in my EA Access installed games:

As for the 'Buy to own' question, I have that same issue. It's likely because BF1 is a GwG title for the next 27 days. When this ends, I presume the 'Buy to Own' will be an option again.

Yes this is an issue that I have had from day one. But it is only when I enter a game never mid game, the only fix I have found is try a new server.

Thanks for the reply buddy. I been late getting back to you, I did try something that seems to have worked. I uninstalled the game, which meant DLCs etc were uninstalled. Then just reinstalled the entire lot again, and all seems to be working fine touch
wood. Worth a go mate.

Hope everything to going well over there.

I must admit it is a pain at times, I've experienced the same issues and most in particular the black screen of temporary death.

Unfortunately I had to do the same i.e. Delete and Redownload the DLC in order to get the Map pack, if it does become a mega issue I suggest contacting EA Support. Apologies that you're experiencing this issue.

Just a heads up if you ever get the black screen of death, following the below for a quick fix -

Press Start.

Go to your Options.

In Options select Video.

In Video, turn “Weapon DOF” from On to Off.

Redeploy.

Turn “Weapon DOF” from Off to On.

Hope that helps. Happy Gaming!

Thanks CuteBear that is very much appreciated. So far the distortions I been seeing on screen as stopped since, like you, I reinstalled everything again. However I still get that black screen when loading up the first game. Its mad coz there has just been
a spring update rolled out, but the black screen still exists!

I will try your fix for when it happens again.

yea I've also had the black screen syndrome just reloading the game seem to sort it out
