Dissapointed in the Enforcment Team

Alright so im a little more than dissapointed with the xbox one enforcment team's decisions as of late. The enforcment team switched my gamer tag with no warning, usually i wouldnt have a problem with this however i paid for the gamer tag i had and in my
opinion my gamer tag didnt violate any rules. My gamer tag was "PinusAlnus" which any person with half a brain would realize even if they just typed it into google that Pinus is the scientific name for a pine as in the tree and Alnus is the scientific name
for and Alder also a tree my gamer tag thus being PineAlder and this gamer tag had meaning to me because i am big into forestry. I am just severly dissappointed in these decisions and feel that the actions taken were wrongful.

Hey there,

As onyxishere mentioned. It's not possible to change the Gamertag for free after it was force changed due to violations of the Terms of Service/ Code of Conduct. Previously there was an option, but this was prone to abuse so it's no longer allowed. For more

Enforcment team

If you were banned for one day or 24 hours there is nothing you can do. However if the suspension was longer then a day you can file to have your case reviewed by the enforcement team. That way they can hear your side of the story. If you are interested
in doing this Here is how to do it.

You will need to go to http://enforcement.xbox.com sign in and click the orange hammer in the top left of the site.This will take you to your enforcement history page. Find the current enforcement effecting your
account.

Next to it on the right you should see a link that say submit a case review. Click on that and follow the prompts.

You were warned.Your warning is the CoC/ToU that you agreed to when you started your account.

My guess would be that it was changed because it looks/sounds like something else.Just because you think it's ok doesn't make it so.

hahha The moment I saw your old game tag I was reaching for the report button. You just a innocent caught up in the crowd of gamers who try to use slang or other ways to get around the naughty words button. Why didn't you use PineAlder? Also typing things
into google will result into some nasty surprises.

 

Everywhere i look i see ban account this, ban console that, enforcement teams, etc... Is it realy necessary to police online gaming? I remember when playing games online was a fun thing to do... Am i really that old? This is killing online gaming, not improving
it. Next we will see people be banned for playing too much without making a stop every hour (health percautions).

 

Online gaming is meant for all gamers to enjoy without feeling offended or harassed. The name you choose was questionable and may be considered offensive, that is probably why it was changed. However see if you can still get another name change for your
account being that you paid for the change but were not successful in completing the gamertag change.
