    Hello! I've recently been banned from Xbox Live and can no longer play the games that I've purchased. I'm wondering if anyone has had any success disputing charges from Microsoft because these business practices are absolutely unacceptable. Before anyone
    comments with their concerns of me getting banned for starting a credit dispute, mind you I am already banned, so I could care less. But does anyone think it's worth the time calling the bank, has anyone had success disputing charges from Microsoft before?

    Previous Purchases

    I made some game purchases in 2016, that I no longer seem to have access to. I have checked all my Microsoft accounts to see if I may have mistakenly bought it under one of those, however I was unable to find them. I do have the Paypal purchase receipts,
    but when support chat tried to look up the transaction IDs they weren't able to find a match. I'm not sure who I should contact about this.

    The best thing to do is to check your Account here - https://account.microsoft.com/

    And see if you can see your purchase.

    If not, contact sales support with your paypal information and they should be able to see what happened with the purchase.

    There could be other reasons for the games not showing, for example if the game was pulled from the market by the publisher. Or was removed and replaced with another version of the game e.g. GOTY.

    Unfortunately it is stated in the Xbox Live Code of Conduct that all permanent suspensions (bans) of an account will result in forfeiture of the content.

    This is the relevant passage from the CoC:

    "UPON RECEIVING A PERMANENT SUSPENSION, YOU FORFEIT ALL CONTENT LICENSES, GOLD MEMBERSHIP TIME, AND MICROSOFT ACCOUNT BALANCES ASSOCIATED WITH THE SUSPENDED ACCOUNT."

    (Capitalisation is as appears in the document and not added by me.)

    because you didn't go thru the right proccess

    Even PayPal tells you to be a parent and deal with the source of the issue which would be your child and your parental settings

    Also should be noted according to the PayPal agreement and Xbox agreement you signed if there is a dispute you must take it up with the vendor first

    Which you didn't and just arbitrarily refunded it without even consulting. Xbox

    Too many refunds and PayPal does warn yku that there is consequences

    Since you didnf go thru the proper channels you were banned correctly because you got the content and didnt pay for it

    Games Removed Due to PayPal Dispute

    Xbox Support won't be able to do anything. Paypal would not have disputed the "tax" for the transaction, they'd dispute the whole purchase. Since the dispute was successful against Microsoft/Xbox then in turn Microsoft/Xbox pulls the license from your account.

    Xbox Support will see the chargeback/dispute of those purchases and that's it. They can't put a game back on your account.
