Displeased Xbox game tag

I could not figure how for 2 days I could not get online and the only reason I found out is because I had to take the time and contact xbox live! It took me over an hour online with them for them to tell me that they have changed my game tag because our
tag was offensive. No emails, no contact to me whatsoever just changed it!!!! I can go online and pull down 1000 of different offensive names but it seemed we for profiled for some reason... I paid for the game tag change, it accepted the game tag change how
I in The wrong... Why was it me that seemed to be getting in trouble of something that was accepted by Microsoft!!! I feel that due to no communication on your part that we should be allowed a free and again I say free game change! I am very displeased with
the lack of customer service on contacting someone to let the gamer know there is an issue to give them A chance to change for free since it was not any wrong doing on my part. I will be writing negative comments on anything it will let m, to Explain the wrong
doing on your part! The game tag you changed it to is:

Microsoft can't reasonably expect to program a filter that will catch all offensive gamertags. People are far too clever for that. If your gamertag was borderline then it's unfortunate, however it's likely that it wasn't, and you should have known better.

You weren't "profiled" but you were reported by users who took offense to your old gamertag. You knowingly violated the Code of Conduct and have been punished accordingly. If you want to change your gamertag to something other than "WearyWhelp75255" you
will have to pay the $10 USD just like everyone else. Hopefully you'll be more intelligent this time around and chose something that isn't against the ToS/CoC.

The background is actually highly customizable and you can either delete or rearrange what you want/don't want on your home screen. The online only part is actually only going to get worse in the future so you can either connect via wifi or you'll get
a degraded experience, sad but true.

Howdy! I'll try to describe the process a little better, just to be sure we're on the same page.

On the home screen, when you scroll downward, for each category there will be a large block on the far left side of the screen with a simple graphic. As an example, for "Community" it's a simple drawing of two people. Highlight that large block, and then
on your controller press the Menu button (3 horizontal lines) to the right of the big Xbox button, and that should reveal a menu which has "remove" as an option. Selecting "remove" would delete that entire category from your home screen.

Unfortunately, for each category that you do want to keep on your home screen, there is no way to remove the content tiles displayed to the right of that "category" block, so this process doesn't really do much to free up the picture that you use for your
home screen background.

What it does do is make the home screen a little more efficient by allowing you to remove whole categories that you don't need and, by the same token, add groups, games, or friends that you might want to access directly from your home screen.
