Displaying set-top box info on screen when channel changes

Hey everyone. Was hoping for some help with this. I searched and searched and couldn't find anything about it.

I recently hooked up my set-top box through my XB1. I really enjoy using the OneGuide, but every time I change the channel, it displays the channel info from set-up box guide on the screen (which takes up half the screen), and the only way I can close it
is with the remote for my set-top box.

The set-top box is a Cisco Explorer 1642HDC High Definition Receiver through Cox.

Does anyone know a fix for this? It makes using the OneGuide almost moot, since everytime I change the channel I have to grab a different remote and hit exit.

Entone Amulet 400 not changing channels properly

I had an issue with my Entone Amulet 400 set top box where when I would change channels via the Xbox One the Entone would receive too many commands and go to the wrong channel. For example if it was trying to go to channel 124, the Entone was receiving
111222444 instead. The fix is to go into the settings menu on the Entone Set Top Box and change the URC delay from zero to 3. When I went into the settings screen it asked for a password - the default password is just the number zero - at least on mine it
was. Now everything works fine between Kinect and this Set Top Box

Sagemcom DTIW77 HD not recognized for IR-controll

Unfortunately it did not help.

What I did was this (for each code):

Have set-top box set to channel 1

Enter code -> done.

Go back out to start screen.

Press X to bring up OneGuide.

Select channel 2 and press A.

The xbox switches to TV but does not change the set-top box channel.

But the program info shows when you change channels. Can they not populate the info in the channel list from that source? Can't spare the software dev resources to make it work. Pathetic. Guess the Xbox One isn't One anymore. Might as well buy a PlayStation
and a set top box next time.

Free scan can be done,channels wil be also found, the screen gets black when i start the TV app.Technicaly it should work without oneguide on the same way like it works with Set Top Box
