    Display Issue


    Hi all,

    Having display issue with my x360 when setting display mode as 720p or 1080p.

    Display is normal when i select 480p.

    I am using Component HD cable on Samsung LED TV 5 series. The display is proper when booting the console but after 30-40 seconds, displays distorts (attaching screenshots, Dashboard & Settings). When i boot the game, after 5 min, the screen freezes (Freeze
    ingame) and i have to reset the console.

    I am trying to attach screenshots here but i am not able to. What format i should use? wht is the size limit?

    Please help.

    Display issue

    My misses has somehow got a dialog box up in forza 6 that stays over everything but she doesn't know how she did it. I've been through every option and menu, pressed every button and can't get rid of it. The dialog box says Record Breaker, Chase Car, Kickback
    with a number and line next to each.

    Does anyone know how to get rid of this? It's only on forza not any other game.

    I haven't actually played the game but I see it's a achievement in game, she might have activated the achievement tracker. If this is the case as I'm sure you tried restarting the game, press the xbox home button and go up to the achievement tab at any time
    while you're playing that game and turn off achievement tracker.

    No display at all now Display Issue :(

    Tried on SMART TV with component cable and on Monitor with AV cable

    If possible try a different HDMI cable to ensure that it may be the issue

    Please make sure there are no kinks or bends in yur HDMI cable, sounds like you do a lot of reconnecting, and those wires aren't exactly known for their durability.

    Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely.
    Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes.
    Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.

    Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. We understand that the console is having some video issues while starting up and playing games. The article entitled, "Video
    on Xbox One is stuttering    " contains solutions to this type of issue. Also, have you tried plugging the console into a different HDMI port on the television? Does the video issue occur every time the console starts up? Be sure to let us know the results!
