    I have an xbox one xIt had been working completely fine, then when turned on no visual output came up on the hdmi channel. I got a new hdmi cord, switched ports, cleaned everything, did a cool reset, opened in low res mode (which works) but it refuses to provide any output at 1080p. Everything else works well on the tv.

    Why has the hdmi suddenly failed?

    Yes. When I click on the link to claim Spotify, it results in error. A message is displayed "an error occurred. Please try later". No error code or reason for the error is displayed.
