    Display Dim and Dark when turning system on.


    Just recently this week when I turn my Xbox on the display is very dark and dim almost impossible to see. But when I turn it off and then back on it will be normal again. I have checked my connections to my TV and they are all working fine. It seems that
    every time I turn on my Xbox I have to turn it off right away and then back on to be able to see anything. What could be causing this issue? I have gone through the display settings and have it set to auto-detect my TVs resolution but it still doesn't help,
    and I am not sure what else to try.

    Xbox power light dimming?

    Seems to change based on the light in the room. Kinda like when your phone screen dims. Dark room = dim Xbox logos on the system, Kinect and controller, bright room = bright light.

    Dim display after booting Xbox one

    Recently I have been experiencing issues after turning on my console. The screen will be extremely dim. The white Xbox one logo that displays during startup appears almost dark grey. And when I'm at the home screen it's very dark. Restarting the console
    fixes this issue. But it happens everytime I turn it on for the first of the day. Could this be a software update issue after the last update?

    Hey there. I've heard of this happening from time to time. Usually, you can get it to stop by holding the Xbox logo on the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down, then unplugging the power cord from the back for 5 minutes.

    How often does it do it? Mine did it once when i went to close down a game withe the menu+close. When that happened my controller turned the machine back on. Also i was watching a dvd last night and my system shut off but i was in the dark and sometimes
    my lights can dim when it storms and cut off my 360 so it might of dimmed and caused it. How often and when does it happen?

    For me they are both dim when in a poorly light room and turn brighter when in a bright room.

    I presume the kinect adjusts the brightness so when in a dark room it doesn't blind you

    I'm having the same problem on my Xbox One. All my other devices hooked up to my TV display perfectly, and are not super dim like when I turn my Xbox on.
