[Display] Colors and large boxes constantly flicker across screen

Greetings:

I own two xbox ones, and my original Day 1 console has no issues, but The Division bundle that I purchased at the end of March has the described issue for at least three games (Overwatch, Rocket League, and The Division). The symptoms first appeared last
month but were originally thought to simply be an issue with our projector at work. We've since purchased a new TV, and it is having the same issues.

• We have tried multiple HDMI cables and display devices (Samsung TV, projector, various monitors).
  
• The issue persists through multiple cold boots.
• The XB1 is sitting right-side up on a table in a well-ventilated room with nothing covering any of the vents.
  
• No video calibrations on the TV or XB1 have changed the output.
• This does not happen in the XB1 OS menus.

The only thing I have not tried is a factory reset and reinstalling everything. Are there any suggestions beyond doing that and shipping it in for warranty service otherwise?

Netflix screen flickers.

Hi, for a few months I've had this issue where Netflix will not operate smoothly at all and the screen will flicker non stop.

I've reinstalled the app, changed TV and Xbox display settings and no fixes, please help

You're better off just using the Xbox 360 VGA cable and a VGA switch box. Yes most switch boxes luck ugly, but they work. The switch box will allow you to connect your PC and 360 to the same screen, to swap, simply flick the switch.

It seems that you've narrowed this down to being a console issue and not an issue with your TV/HDMI cable. If you haven't tried already, I would recommend uninstalling a game and re-installing it to see if that clears up any issue. If that helps you may
need to re-install all of your games.

If you're still running into trouble a factory restore would be your next option. If neither of those steps help please let us know, you may need to set up a service request.

Thanks for the response. I was hoping for some magic fix, although I suspected it was a hardware issue. Using Reset Console (through the Settings app) and following the process through to remove everything, apps and games included, changed nothing. At this
point I think I have to proceed with the service request process.

 

Just an update for anyone who stumbles upon this later:

Factory restore resulted in no change. Had it replaced via the warranty and the replacement model works flawlessly.
