Disneyland Adventures, Error 0x8015DC12

Trying to play Disneyland Adventures on PC. I'm on 1809, and it seems to have broken sometime early March. The game will launch, go through the billion dev and publisher animations, go to the launch screen, then error out while "trying to sign in" after
hitting Go.

I've tried every option posted before on other threads that mods have inexplicably locked for being a week old, and no resolution so far. Someone please help!

Hey, I can help! Funny, your name is too!! That's really weird. Newho, I found the solution! I was having the exact same issue, and I thought my PC was up to date. Turns out it wasn't after I manually checked, due to the way MS doesn't
push the updates to everyone at once. You'll want to manually check, and make sure KB4490481 gets installed, and your problem should be fixed!

I'd post this to the other threads that had this problem, but like you said, mods seem to think that they can just lock threads that ask too hard of questions.

(Great question! Actually yes, I posted this whole thread so I could get this solution out to others, doing support's job for them since they weren't able to unlock the other thread in question.)
