    Disney + Playing at 120 FPS Series X


    When watching Disney + on the Xbox video output is 120 FPS.

    This causes the TV to switch to the game mode vs cinematic.

    The disabling the game mode on an LG OLED G1 is not simple, it is a five-step process.

    Xbox Series X is directly connected to an LG OLED G1.

    Audio is sent to a Pioneer VX505 via eARC.

    I have a 9.1 channel receiver in order to get Dolby Atmos I have to use the TV's enhanced ARC (eARC) output. Optical and legacy ARC only support 5.1 channels.



    If run the console’s video through my receiver (Pioneer LX505) the built in HDMI switch induces too much input lag for gaming. That’s a flaw in my receiver.

    When I put in a 4k blue ray the TV automatically switches to the cinematic mode.

    This is a Disney + or Xbox bug.

    But you only reported audio situations.

    Try making a simple connection, directly to your TV, without the VX505 connected.

    Because it's causing conflict in the console video.
