    Yes, it just has to be the same system.

    I bought Disney 2.0 base and it works fine with the digital download of 3.0.

    The reason 3.0 is available digitally and 2.0 wasn't

    It has not been confirmed if it will port to xbox one. So for now no.

    I've been waiting, but I'm thinking of getting rid of my Infinity stuff. I gave up my 360 when I got the One (went to having just one console at a time; limited space, limited time), and with the recent layoffs from Disney's game teams I'm not sure if this
    is going to get ported.

    Tried the IOS version of Disney infinity and I kinda like it. Also read up on SW Disney Infinity on Game Informer and looks really cool. May pick up the Xbox one Version of Disney infinity 2.0 to get started.

    It clearly states in the game description on the Microsoft Xbox 360 game page that a Disney Infinity base and figures are required to play the game.
