    Yes, it just has to be the same system.

    I bought Disney 2.0 base and it works fine with the digital download of 3.0.

    The reason 3.0 is available digitally and 2.0 wasn't

    Disney infinity 3.0

    Not had that myself.

    Might be worth re installing the game & doing a power cycle on your console by holding the power button on the front down for about 10 seconds until the console shuts down.

    still having sound loss even after reinstalling doing a reset checking my base in connected but it does not solve the problem

    Might be a bug,not long after your last post i had the sound loss as well but it did fix itself after restarting the game.

    Not been on it much lately due to Mad Max

    My infinity base sometimes will not "power on" when plugged in, also I have issues with getting another player in game especially in toy box mode. Any suggestions? Have updated my system.

    I have Disney Infinity 3.0 & have never had to have or been asked for Disney Infinity 2.0..

    DI 3.0 will play any of the previous playsets.
