    Disney Infinity 3.0 not opening due to Direct3D problem


    I downloaded Disney Infinity 3.0 for the first time, and upon opening I am greeted with a blue screen with white lettering that states "This app required Direct3D feature level 10_1 or higher with compute shader support"

    My graphics card on my laptop is not amazing, but I have never had trouble
    opening     games, sometimes the performance simply suffers. I do not have an Nvidia graphics card, as stated on the dxdiag.exe it is simply and Inte HD Graphics 3000

    I have never had a problem like this, and when I run dxdiag it says I have feature level 10.1,10.0, 9.3, 9.2, 9.1.

    All 3 directX features are enabled (DirectDraw, Direct3D, and AGP texture).

    I do not see any mention of "compute shader"

    Any help or suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks

    Yes, it just has to be the same system.

    I bought Disney 2.0 base and it works fine with the digital download of 3.0.

    The reason 3.0 is available digitally and 2.0 wasn't

    Infinity 3.0 site     really says is.

    Hi there i have just played this myself and i am only playing on a not very good computer but i don't have DirectX on this computer and it is still working so i suggest that you hard reset the computer and reinstall Disney Infinity 3.0 and then it may work
    again if that dosent work trying installing Direct X again.

    you should already have Silverlight pre-installed but if you dont it may help you out

    I have Disney Infinity 3.0 & have never had to have or been asked for Disney Infinity 2.0..

    DI 3.0 will play any of the previous playsets.
