Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy will be coming to Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes (2.0 Edition), with a new movie-inspired Guardians of the Galaxy Play Set bringing Star-Lord, Rocket Raccoon, Drax, Gamora and Groot to the game, complete with accompanying
figurines.

The Play Set will see the Guardians arriving at Knowhere having pilfered a powerful cosmic object from villain, Ronan the Accuser. You'll need to beat a hasty escape from Ronan and his Sakaaran fleet, keeping the stolen item safe from his evil grasp.

Crossover characters playable in the Guardians of the Galaxy Play Set will include Iron Man (from The Avengers Play Set) and Nova (from The Spider-Man Play Set), with characters issuing missions including Cosmo, The Collector and Yondu.

Star-Lord, Rocket Raccoon, Drax, Gamora and Groot will be also playable in the Disney Infinity's new Toy Box 2.0, with their own structured Toy Box Game called Attack on Asgard, involving Loki and an army of Frost Giants. Guardians of the Galaxy Play Set
will also include themed Power Discs.

Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes (2.0 Edition) will be launching this fall, with The Avengers, Spider-Man and Guardians of the Galaxy Play Sets. There's a new trailer and

Infinity 3.0 site really says is.

#4 – All-new multiplayer Toy Box Expansion Games will allow you to play with all of your Disney, Disney•Pixar, MARVEL, and Star Wars™ characters from Disney Infinity 1.0, 2.0, and 3.0 together.

 

Saw this last night too, it really needs to come out on the One, I didn't really get time to give it a proper go on the 360 before the One came out, great game from what I did play and it's one of the only 360 games I've kept.

 

I agree it needs to come out, was a brilliant game I put a hell of a lot of hours into it but haven't touched it since the one came out

 

I would be tempted if this was to hit Xbox One.

 

Are you still planning on hitting the States this year Lofty? If so and this is out on the One by then you'd be better off grabbing any figures etc over there. I picked up mine last year whilst on hols and saved a fortune.

Son told us recently that we are going to be grandparents, then told us yesterday they are getting married and if we can help with the costs so all depends on when and how much it will cost us lol

To be honest though, you know how mad my wife is, if I was to go off shopping for anything related to Xbox One whilst on holiday she would likely kill me very slowly :-/
