I got the game with a steering wheel bundle and Im hopeing they can just exchange the hard copies for a gift card or if they have in store the same game on the digital code ..if not ill just have to trade them in and pay the rest I guess be out of pocket
but ah that's my own fault for not checking

Before you get your hopes up: Returning games is bound to the store's return policy where you bought the games.

You don't get Microsoft Gift Card credit when returning the games. Depending on the store, you might not be able to return (opened) games at all.

So beware.

Unfortunately games on disc cannot be used on the Xbox One S All-Digital Edition. You can return them for Xbox Gift Cards and buy them digitally.

Indeed, if everything works except disks... It maybe a diskdrive issue. Is you're console still under warranty??
