    I also have the disk read error which appears at random times throughout the game. I do not believe that it is an actual disk read error as it sometimes occurs when I doubt that the disk is being read eg when accessing the inventory. Have spent a lot of
    time on the EA chat help but got absolutely nowhere; got the impression they don't care!

    I got the same problem.... Tried the offline install and problem still persists.... I am also at my wits end... anybody pls help?!?

    If installing offline does not work, I recommend installing the game to a USB drive that is at least 8GB instead. Be sure to delete the existing install from the Xbox 360 HDD before you install again.

    Tried that too but the game prompts that it cannot be installed to an external flash drive..... I realised that even with successful installation, and even with saved game (during my once lucky attempt that allowed the game to run), there was no achievement
    category for the game and my system games collection did not even list it... Maybe the game has an inherent bug? I m sooooo frustrated now...

    Hey there JJALEXANDER123!

    Sorry to hear about the disc read issue! Could you try deleting Dragon Age: Inquisition's save data and try reinstalling the game offline? To completely delete save data, check out out

    Manage Game Data     page. Before you install the disc, follow the steps below to go offline:

    • On the Xbox 360 Dashboard, go to the Settings tab and select System.
    • Select 'Network Settings".
    • Highlight your wireless network and delete it.
    • If you are wired, simply remove the Ethernet cable from the Xbox 360 console.
    Try doing a fresh install of the game while offline and post back if that helps! :)

    Disk Read Error in the middle of a game?

    @Mister Fitzer Sonic Generations works fine on another console, mine is the only one that seems to be having that problem. Every other game seems to work just fine on it though.

    Some Sonic Generation effects:

    Music skips

    Music stops

    Graphics dont load at the time its suppose to (Invisible scenary, insivible objects)

    Disk read error (Error I get everytime any of the above happens).

    I also noticed the disk stops spinning before I get disk read error and sometimes the disk spins non stop then error message pops up cause it doesnt seem to be reading it.

    I am able to play it sometimes but i usually get disk read error after a while.
