Disk Problems

Hi,

Can anyone help with this? I have had my Xbox One since Crimbo and now having some issues with the Disks. If i change the disk it comes up with an error,

"Your Disk may be dirty or Damaged. Try Cleaning it or choose a different Disk (0x21)"

Now all my disks are perfect not a finger print or scratch in sight. Tried Forza 5 disk and Titanfall and all the same. Now if I put the disk in and do a hard reboot (hold the xbox symbol on the box for a few seconds) and then turn back on it reads the disk
and plays!

Don't want to start sending it back etc is there something i'm doing wrong? Any Ideas welcome!

My Xbox 360 is a year old now,

It was working perfectly but nowadays It's not working..

All my game disks are either unreadable or being read as Mixed media disks

The CDs are good tho, I tried it on my friend's Xbox

What is the problem?

Is it possible that you are currently in the April Update Preview? If so you should better head over to the seperated BETA Section here:

Your issue sounds like a common issue with the actual Preview. If you are not sure if your participating or not, please check the current OS Version and post it here. You can check the Version at Settings -> System -> Console Information.

Hey B3nchPress, I'm also having the same problem so you are not alone, but in my case when I eject the disc it'll go back into the drive before I have the time to take it out, it does this once then it'll come out fine every time after that. Only problem
is is that the game won't work (same error message) untill, like you said, I do a hard reboot. I'm thinking this is maybe something to do with what '2Bad4You' said as I also have the same OS Version. If you find any info on this please let me know, thanks.

Ok your OS Version is the current BETA one. Please post anything BETA related in the BETA Forums. (Link in my 1st Post).

As for this specific Issue it´s a well known BETA Problem. I experience this by myself. But that`s the Deal for beeing in Previews / BETA like this. All we can do is Report and let them know. I´m sure they are investigating and working on a fix.

If you don`t want to receive future BETA updates run the Registration App again and choose Unregister.

As xD 2Bad4You has said, this is an error connected specifically with the current beta tests. Presumably you are all signed up for this. Therefore please use the beta forums to report and discuss these issues.

I'd also just politely remind you that art of the Beta programme is a NDA that all participants accepted, and so any information relating to the beta should not be posted to the public forums

I am glad that I found this thread and only finding that it is not me who is having the issue. I was on the verge of getting rustled due to the fact of having to request a replacement.

 

Same issue for me, can also not leave my feedback on the beta forums, only get error messages.

How do I unsubscribe fo the beta?

 

You can´t unsubscribe from this Beta directly. But you can unregister for future Beta`s. To do that just run the Registration App again and inside the App you can unregigster. After you have done that you will still stay in this wave, but do not participate
in future Preview Programms.

As for the Problem with accessing the Beta Forums i will try to Forward your names to the officials. They will let you in then.
