disk drive problems

So im having a problem with my disk drive not accepting disks. When i insert a game into the drive it does not pull it in and when i press the eject button it makes the sound as if it was working correctly but nothing happens. sometimes the eject button
makes a different sound like a dun dun sound. I have tried power cycling it but that doesnt seem to help with the problem. I left my system unplugged over night and it still does nothing. i had this problem a few weeks ago but power cycling seemed to "fix"
the problem but now no more. Any advice or do i have to send in my xbox?

Sorry you're having issues with your console. What you're describing sounds like hardware issues. That said you can try a factory reset by following

this link. If that doesn't work and the issues persist, then I would suggest sending your console in for repair at this link.
