    Disk Drive Fail


    took 11 months for my disc drive to take a crap. got it sent in for warranty repair. they sent it back to me yesterday. today, same problem. did they even fix it? obviously not. seems like they just wiped out my hard drive then sent me back my console. this
    sux.

    Cant Download 8-26-2013 Download!?!?!?

    If all else fails make sure your disk drive is plugged in that's why I got the error code

    The steps to Resolution are in order..

    1. Delete map pack

    2. Clear system Cache.

    3. recover Gamter tag.

    4. restart XBox.

    test map ...

    if fails.

    1. Clean disk with soft cloth.

    2. download game to hard drive.

    3. clear system cache .

    4. test game

    if fails

    1. Get replacement disk.

    Hi,

    Simple answer, your hard drive is failing. Fix? Buy a new hard drive or use an external hard drive. The Xbox 360 supports external hard drives up to 2 TB.

    Hard drives die and before they do, they generally exhibit, disk read errors, corrupted files none working games. Hard disk drives are mechanical with moving parts, its it not if they fail its a matter of when.

    Hi, I have tried all of these solutions and it has not remedied the issue. I think it is most likely the disk that is at fault. However, I am not sure as I had a hard drive that had the game on it and the disk was working flawlessly then, that hard drive failed and I got a new hard drive recently and tried to install the game and it failed to install as I described earlier.

    You would have had to send it in to Microsoft to be repaired, bit as you've opened it, they will no longer repair it. We cannot assist with self-repair as it violates the terms of service.
