Disk Drive does not work in my Xbox One

So my wife just got me the Xbox One Assassin's Creed Unity Bundle with Kinect. The games it came with were downloadable so I didn't check the disk drive initially. Some family came over for the weekend and wanted to see our wedding video and I had downloaded
the Blu-Ray and DVD player app as well as the CD Player app. I tried to play the video but it did not work. I didn't take a lot of time to think more of it so I just played it in another DVD Player. So today I decided to put a Blu-Ray Movie in and noticed
that it did not recognize to play it. I tried re-installing the Blu-Ray player and tried another Blu-Ray disk and it still didn't work. I tried a DVD and it didn't work. I tried a CD using the CD App and it didn't work. I went through the trouble shooting
from the Xbox website where you change the power settings from instant on to Energy Savings and do a hard reset. I've also checked the forums and tried multiple other things and nothing is working. I got kind of nervous because I knew my wife had purchased
retail games. I asked her and she pulled out a brand new retail copy of an Xbox One game, Just Dance 2015. I put the disk in and....Nothing. It didn't recognize it at all. Then it didn't even want to eject it. I had to hard reset the system, then the
Xbox light kept flashing and it wouldn't even come on. Finally I reset the system again and it finally let me eject the game. Is the disk drive issues THIS bad? What sucks is that I can't even take it back to get a replacement because nobody has them in
stock anymore, at least for a decent price as she got it at one of those Black Friday/Cyber Monday prices. I've been a fan of Microsoft for years and supporting them from the original Xbox. I've owned Windows Phones, have a PC, Laptop, Surface, and all three
Xbox systems. However this is just getting ridiculous and I don't know how much more I'm going to be able to take of their systems being THIS dysfunctional.

Xbox One disk drive does not work

I have seen this issue resolved by doing a hard reset on the console EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug
the power cord back in and restart the console. Once it is back up and operational test the results. Give it a try and let us know. Good Luck!

Xbox One disk drive does not work

I've now tried DVDs , BlueRays, and now my brand new $50 Assasins Creed Syndicate and my Xbox will not read any of them. Takes the disc in and about 30 seconds later says " Eject the disc , then try again Make sure you're using an Xbox One game, a music
CD, or a movie on Blu-Ray or DVD (0x80820002) " I'm in Texas and everything I've put in the Xbox has come from the Walmart next door

Hi there i would recommend calling 800-469-9269 that is customer support number call it and set up a repair your console is still under warranty or you can go here

I have done research on this fully as have others . All the equipment is there for you to add a disk drive connectors etc. They just have a plate on the inside covering the place where a disk drive would be. However while adding a disk drive it just doesnt
work . Its not designed for it. There must be some internal thing preventing it. my question is why would you want to try to add a disk drive to one that doesnt have one. That is your only option and it doesnt work . Either trade it in for a normal xbox with
a disk drive. Why would you buy a all digital version if you wanted your prior games on there it just isnt possible. It has been tried by many and unfortunately none have gotten a disk drive to work in the all digital version nor does it make sense to keep
trying.

Can I use my USB-Stick as storage for playlists, or does this only work with Xbox who has an internal hard drive disk?

If it has a disk Drive, it's a one S and it will not work

The Legacy includes the One edition but the Legacy Gold does not ! Whyever ???
