Disk based games suddenly refusing to play error code 0x87de07d1

Hi,

Can someone explain why my xbox one has suddenly started to refuse to read and play game disks, instead giving error code 0x87de07d1 when I insert the disks ?

I've only had the console 3 months please don't tell me the optical drive is dying already

My Digital bought Dying light isn't working.

hello on 10-2 i bought dying light, played it for weeks now since yesterday i can;t play the game anymore.

error code (0x87de07d1) that its not my game and need a disk or log in.

my account is set as homexbox

and i'm connected to live.

tried 8-10 second powerbutton reset, also did the RT+LT+Y.

Unfortunately I had that same issue, and had to get a replacement console in November 2014. I would have a disc in the drive and it would not recognise it, would then eject the disc and re-insert and would still not work, had to repeat the process at the
very least 6 times before it would recognise the disc. Then one night the disc just jammed in the console and I could not eject it, even with the small button under the side grill. Had to submit a repair request and they sent a brand new console, hope you
haven't got the same problem but it sounds like you may have.

I recently had this issue. I believe its the mechanism that grabs and feeds the disk into the drive. I think it's not pulling the disk completely into the drive where it can be properly set onto the spindle. Try this... When you put your disk into the xbox
immediately follow it with another disk. Only need to give it a small nudge with the second disk. You don't need to push hard with the second disk. Just a small push seems to work. So far it has worked but I have only done this 2-3 times so far.

I have same problem giving me 0x21. And 0x87de07d1 error codes and telling me disc unreadable it seems to happen when disc drive. Is idle for a while. To play disc games when unreadable have to do hard reset for them to work and with error codes
need to eject and reinsert game for it to work .???

after of the insident of 01/05/2105 y can play with any problem , but today the problem is here again.
