Dishonored 2 PC install never completes

Have you verified whether this problem exists only on that system or have you verified on another device.

I've just started the (58 GB!) install myself and have gotten beyond the 698 MB point without a hitch already:





However, I did experience a stop at 787 MB:





As soon as I pressed the retry button in the windows store, it continued merrily along though.

Hi, please check if you have enough free space because you might need to expand your space or clean it in order to download the game.

does all the games behave like that or just Dishonored 2?

Here's what you can try:

- Running Windows' inbuilt Microsoft Store troubleshooter. To do this, open up your PC's settings, select "Updates and security", then select "Troubleshoot" in the list on the left, then click on "Additional troubleshooting tools", and finally on "Windows
Store apps". Let the tool run and fix any problems should it find any.

- Resetting your Windows store cache: Hit Windows key + S, and then type wsreset in the search box. When the result appears, right click on it, and choose "Run as administrator". A command prompt-like window will appear,
and will clear your Windows Store cache. After it's done, try reinstalling the game.

Run the sfc /scannow in command prompt. Or the update troubleshooting tool to fix the issue.

But clearly never played a Thief game before. Dishonored completely ripped off Thief but with 'powers'.
