Dishonored 2 gameplay looks so good

I'm sure you've seen it, but if not, . Lets discuss. I know this is a fan favourite. So what are your thoughts on it? Will it live up to expectations?

What did I miss?

Check out Watch Dogs, a cool new game by Ubisoft announced at E3. Also look for the new gameplay videos of Dishonored, The Last of Us and Tomb Raider.

 

I loved Dishonored, played it through a good few times trying different routes, approaches, styles. Really looking forward to the follow up.

 

Never played Dishonored. Was going to try it at one point, but decided against it from several friends reviews. They all said it was super short (3 to 7 hours to completion.), very linear, and rats seemed to the only enemy. What was your take on the first
one Genchy?

Your mates are off their heads D33dles! That's my take on that! I loved it because their were so many choices of how to complete missions, different routes, different powers, stealth or combat, lethal, non lethal etc. Level design was amazing. I don't
remember it being that short either! I just found so much fun in replaying missions in different ways. Good story, fantastic environment and art style. It had its faults but nothing major, for the first outing it was superb in my opinion.

 

cant agree with linear either, I mean sure you have a mission but it's not linear like COD. Say you have to get onto a building You could attempt to make a rooftop entry or maybe find an open balcony window, maybe find something that allows you to walk
right up to the guards and be let in, storm it and kill everyone, stealthily knock out the guards. Sneak in round the back or as I did once morph into a fish and swim in through a drain vent! So many ways to complete an objective! Hardly linear.

 

Thanks for you take on it Genchy, it's in sale for $17.96 at Walmart...going to pick it up later if they got it in stock; otherwise might have to order it online.

Shame your not in the UK I would lend you mine!

 

Your friends are way off in my opinion. It took way more than 3 to 7 hours. There were way more enemies than rats.

 

This game is probably a pass for me tried the first one didn't play for very long just remember I found it far too difficult

 

The first was brilliant, it still has the best ability in a game to date which is the 'blink' skill, when fully upgraded it would freeze time when you held the trigger so you could blink behind someone stealth kill and blink back out without anyone being
the wiser it was SO good, haha.

I think I'm actually going to preorder the collectors edition, well I'm really tempted anyway and I think you can play as both Corvo or Emily with both having a unique skill set. Hot d a m n!
