(Discussion) Favorite horror game you have played?

For me personally, Outlast was such a great game with an amazing storyline. It appeared on the games with gold list about a year ago.

The game made me buy the DLC, and along with Outlast 2. Here is a review from IGN

I'll for sure agree with Outlast being up there as one of the best horror games of all time/being my personal favorite. A close second to being my favorite is Resident Evil 7. It reimagined the Resident Evil series in a refreshing way since the flop of
RE6. I think by brining Resident Evil back to its roots grounded in horror, Capcom got a whole new generation of gamers back into playing Resident Evil either again or for the first time. The atmosphere, ambience, and everything in between thanks to the RE
Engine is really something to be admired.

P.T. and The Park were my favorite horror games. Outlast is definitely in my top 3 of favorite horror games because it's a classic.

To me has to resident evil games especially they being survival horror and Slient Hill as well.

Outlast terrifies me whenever I try and play it. I still haven't managed to finish the story as I'm usually too afraid to put it on! 😨

Another one I've played is Layers of Fear. Whilst it's not a direct scare like Outlast, it really unnerves me.
