    Discussion: Do you think there will still be new games that work on an Xbox One X released...


    The reason I'm asking this is to resist the urge to spend $249.99 plus 6% sales tax to replace my Xbox One X I got on Christmas of 2018 with a refurbished Xbox Series S from GameStop, either online or in any store within a 100 mi. radius of home, any relative, work, church, gardens I enjoy with my aunt, school, libraries I enjoy with my sister, etc. by simply entering the ZIP code of any of those locations on GameStop.com and driving to trade in my Xbox One X for credit. Like all material things, I'll get more time out of a refurbished Xbox Series S if I keep using my Xbox One X like I normally do for at least the next 18 months, at least. Since I'm not counting on a mid-generation refresh for the ninth generation, I may get a refurbished Xbox Series S after the last game for the Xbox One X is approved by Microsoft, which isn't here in 2022. But since the refurbished Xbox Series S isn't in stock at GameStop this July 20th, 2022, I'll definitely get more time out of it if I get it new for $289.99 plus 6% sales tax. I'll include one of the Xbox One X controllers with the trade-in, and keep the other one to go with a new X|S one. Microsoft Xbox Series S Digital Edition (gamestop.com)

    Is it still possible to request backwards compatibility for xbox one?

    Hi! Unfortunately, no new Backwards Compatible Games will be released until the new Xbox Series X releases. All BC work is now being done for the upcoming Xbox Series X. There is still no word if work on BC for Xbox One will be resumed after the release
    of the new console.

    Please bring back the hand gestures on the dashboard, we love it.. please let the feature works for the new consoles xbox one s and xbox one x.

    We recommend to release an update on it, where it should be user friendly.. The people who love it can enable it and people who hate it can disable it.
