    Discs unreadable on the Dashboard


    For the past month, I've had to waste HDD Space on PERFECTLY clean copies of games, just so they can run. When I put the game in my disctray, I get "play game". When pressing A, my screen goes black before being being disconnected from xbox live and getting
    sent back to the dashboard. this happens 9/10 times, to lessen the chances of this error. I have to go on a downloaded game and put the disc in then. For some reason it will read the disc. Keep in mind, these discs aren't scratched. It happened when I got
    a BRAND NEW copy of Black Ops 2 a couple of months ago. My Xbox isn't warranted and I wont phone customer support because it starts a loophole... Thanks to any contribution

    Black Ops Disc Unreadable!?!

    So i have 2 discs of black ops and neither will work, both say that the disc is unreadable or if by some strange reason/miracle it will work after every game it goes back to the dashboard and says it is again unreadable. Ive cleaned them, restarted console
    etc but still not working. all my other games work fine :s. Help please Discs unreadable on the Dashboard :)

    However, I must warn you that if you cannot get the issue solved there you may need to contact phone support or send the console in for repairs.

    wierd dirt like stuff on back of my game!

    Is it causing only this disc to become unreadable? Or are all of your discs unreadable because of this situation?

    Unreadable. ALL discs are unreadable and dont even register as a game or DVD disc. I cant play anything in my xbox from disc. IMEDIATELY after the update.

    Oh by the way, this could be useful, When I put the Game in, it will launch and then just take me to a white screen and it will say disc unreadable then send me to the dashboard.

    *On all games off disc*

    I'll call support for the 3rd time, because that could've been why they didn't know what was wrong.
