Discounted upgrade to FS2020 Premium Deluxe from Gamepass base version from within Marketplace

Hi all!

So I noticed that one can upgrade the gampass version of Flight Simulator 2020 on the marketplace tab within the game itself at a significantly reduced price ($84.99 vs $119.99 retail) to get all launch content.

My question is, if I decide to pay for this premium deluxe upgrade within the game, do I also receive a digital license for the game itself? In other words, should I ever decide to cancel gamepass or the game be removed from its library, do I get to keep
the game and the DLC in its entirety or will I have to purchase the base version in order to enjoy access and the upgrade and additional content I purchased, which then would be more than if I just ditched the gamepass version and bought the full retail premium
deluxe version outright ($145 vs. $120)?

Yes. If you purchase the game, that would give you a digital license for the game. Anything you actually purchase is yours to keep so if you leave Game Pass or it is removed from Game Pass, you would still own everything and can continue playing.

Purchasing upgrades within the in game store does does not appear give you ownership of the full game, just the DLC, just tried. However I plan to keep the $5 Game Pass subscription for other games so the $85 is still worth it for me. I will just buy the
standard version a few weeks/months down the road once the Game Pass or Holiday discounts hits later this year.

Just to be sure, I wouldn't actually purchase the base game, as it's on gamepass, just the upgrade to the premium deluxe version from within the game. Will that still be regarded as a purchase of the full package, including the base game?

same question for me : How do you completely uninstall FS2020 from Game Pass ?

Because I've got the Premium version of FS2020 and I can't see premium content after uninstall / install of new version.... I'm staying with basic version of the game and did not have premium contents...

Please help before i unsubscribe Game Pass
