Discord on Xbox beta

I’m trying to use the discord beta on xbox. the accounts are linked and when i click “try discord on xbox” it takes me to the xbox app and when i hit transfer voice to console it says “update required” and doesn’t transfer. both discord and xbox app as well as my xbox series x is fully updated so idk why it wont work.

What about the discord? I bought it for PC and i have the Xbox (beta) but dont see the "claim discord either"

Sorry to hear that, would be great to assist you on this one but here in the forums the helps provided is most related to stable Xbox OS versions.

As your insider this can be cause (I mean, as you know you're using a beta version. So is normal if the new things are not working for you, bugs and glitches can happen randomly and vary from console to console)

Ah, that I am not sure of. Perhaps in the xbox/game pass for pc (beta)app, still under deals section?

An additional tip...

Once you use the discord deal, go to your discord profile, and you'll be able to claim an extra 3months of game pass

I do use two different consoles. One is an X and the other is a base Xbox One from launch. They’re both in the Xbox Insider beta, but I think they’re at different levels.

I also noticed my Discord connectivity is broken. After this started, it no longer showed the game I was playing on my Discord status
