Discord not linking to xbox?

So I had previously linked my discord and xbox, had no problems since the release of joining discord servers on xbox console. Today, I went to join a server, and instead I was met with a prompt that read; "You need to link account agains. Sorry, this shouldn't take long. Go to your account settings to get started." and then it gives me the option to cancel or go to settings.

I have tried everything. I've tried simply relinking. I have unlinked from both xbox and discord. I even set up a new console on my xbox app, uninstalled the xbox app and reinstalled it. The account shows that it's linked to my xbox, but when I try to join a voice channel, the same pop up comes up reading "you need to link accounts again." I don't know if anyone else has run into this issue, or if anyone else has something else to try, but it's driving me mad here.

The only thing that I could think that could cause this is the fact that instead of 'phasma' it said 'achilles' in the username, but I've tried the set up from the console, my phone, AND A LAPTOP. nothing has worked.

I cant see that my Xbox account is linked with discord on discord though.

Try to remove your profile, then turn off the console, and unplug the power cord and wait for 1 to 2 minutes before plugging it back in.

Turn on the console and re-add your profile, then check if this corrected the issue.

If the issue persists, try to soft reset your console!

There seem to be multiple reports about it already. Please try the following steps one at a time to resolve the issue:

Solution 1: Do a power cycle to clear the cache of the console

1. Turn off the Xbox console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.

2. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.

Important Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

3. Plug the console power cable back in.

4, Press the Xbox button on your console to turn on the Xbox console.

Solution 2: Try setting up Manual DNS settings on your console.

1. Please go to Settings > Network > Advanced Settings > DNS settings >> manual

2. Primary DNS: 208.67.222.222

3. Secondary DNS: 208.67.220.220

Solution 3: Please try setting up a mobile hotspot connection using your phone, then connect the console to the hotspot connection. Kindly check if the same issue persists.
