Discontent XBOX ONE - KINECT

The change that is happening with the Xbox One right now are the changes that should have been implemented from the start of the console launch. Unfortunately Phil Spencer was not the person in charge back then. I think he is making the necessary changes
that should have been there in the first place. Better late than never I suppose.

 

Don't understand how or why people could be upset by today's news. Go figure...

I enjoy XBOX ONE. I don't believe they will do anything to take away from that. They will NOT make one more powerful than the other if that's what ur asking...LMK...

 

People are upset because once again their day one purchase of the Xbox One has proven to be an unworthy investment. While us Xbox 360 owners just keep on winning.

There was a similar issue when Titanfall finally released on the Xbox 360 and in a very good looking and playable form. And many Xbox One owners who were championing this title as the best reason for owning the Xbox One were desperately trying to save face
by trying to slate the 360 version for having a few less textures. It's basically a knee-jerk reaction to justify their console purchase while holding back the tears as best as possible.

A lot of us 360 owners have made many posts wanting Microsoft to ditch Kinect from the Xbox One package, but often met with hostile responses from current Xbox One owners who brand us trolls for speaking out against this useless device.

Now that Microsoft have finally realised the truth, this is going to be very hard for those people that tried so hard to defend the mandatory Kinect because they have been owned yet again. Now we can get the Xbox One CHEAPER than they paid it, without that
useless device and TEN PERCENT (10%) extra power. And our consoles will be newer.

By the time that proper next gen games start appearing on the Xbox One, it will probably be even cheaper and may even be an enhanced model with a bigger hard drive or something. It just gets better for those who wait.

 

Launch day Xbox One buyer paid £430 for the console. And paid £55 for Titanfall.

£485 the launch day buyer has paid for the console and its much hyped game.

Compare that to the £350 price from June 9th onwards. Free Titanfall and a 10% more efficiant console.

£135 less for a better console. One Hundred and Thirty Five Pounds less for a better system.

 

I'm more disgusted with my purchase "day one", I hope that MS will not forget us...

Then you havnt been paying attention, what is ultimately the cause of your issue.

 

Protoxe I don't understand why you think this will make your console obsolete. Do you think you won't be able to play games on it now or they will quit making games just because they released a version without the kinect? It is still the same console. I
think it is better with kinect in my humble opinion.

 

This sucks but Microsoft's hand was forced by Sony. When the competition is $100 cheaper and you are struggling to demonstrate the value add something has to give. I wish Microsoft could have taken the loss and kept Kinect at $399 but the days of console
manufacturers taking huge losses to make it back on software sales is gone.
