    Disconnects, freezing


    About once an hour, the xbox slim will either freeze or disconnect me from Xbox Live.

    Freezing requires a reboot. The xbox usually automatically reconnects to Live. It's not overheating. I've tried re-downloading my profile, games, and clearing the cache.

    If this doesn't get fixed, I don't think I'll keep paying to use the service. Any ideas?

    freezing issues

    Same here, freezing right after Xbox Live sign-in. If I disconnect my WiFi adapter, then it goes to the dashboard without freezing. I didn't try to play any games yet.

    game crash to dash

    Constant dropped games due to server disconnect, migrating hosts, freezing up, etc. Worst game ever!

    I'm surprised they haven't fixed this already. It's not like they profit off of consoles - it's the games. How are we supposed to invest in games when our consoles are broken?

    This is first-hand experience of a dying company.

    Hey there ElectronicFlesh!

    Sorry to hear about the disconnect issue! I understand that you have already tried a good amount of trouble shooting steps, I still recommend following each troubleshoot step on this troubleshoot
    page for screen freezes on Xbox 360    . That covers many steps!

    Follow the steps on that page and let us know how it goes!

    Apparently it needs a service. The odd thing is that this only happens on Warface. Cheers.

    Does this freezing only happen if you are connected to the internet? If you disconnect it and start it up, does it freeze at all?

    remember these consoles are not able to handle the power of headset at the same time, my console doesn't freeze till I disconnect the wireless receiver of the headset, which means it freezes when I connect the receiver during the black ops 2 game play and
    freezes when I disconnect the wireless receiver.

    Never once had it freeze on me. Server disconnections happen, but it's not that often. Surely the 10 million people that bought the game the week it came out are all playing it because it's such and awesome freeze and disconnect experience. Surely they're
    all praising that aspect of the game.
