    Disconnecting Headset Causes Issue in Call of Duty Ghosts


    I was in the middle of playing a Search and Rescue game in Ghosts, and had to unplug my headset, and it booted me from the game. When I tried to go into another game, it said I had to be in game chat in order to play, but my headset wasn't even connected.

    Has anyone ran into this before? I know the getting booted from the game part is known because someone the other day was getting people to 'exit' the game by having them unplug their headphones.

    But I couldn't find where to switch my chat from party chat to game chat, even with my headphones not even plugged in. It was easy to find on 360, but can't seem to find it on Xbox One.

    Bulletkoalo is correct, the Ghosts headset is not only for that game. It's just a way to promote Call of Duty: Ghosts. Just make sure that when you do purchase your headset that it's for the correct Xbox console (360 vs. Xbox One).
