Disconnecting from Xbox Live when signing in on console.

Since today morning every time im trying to sign in with any account on console im being disconnected from Xbox live. Then im checking my connection(but i have to sign out first) and it says that everything is alright and console successefully connects to
internet. Then im trying to sign in and being disconnected! Iv tryed everything, my internet speed is good and wired.

Backwards compatibility question

Hi, so I downloaded NBA Jam Fire Edition on my Xbox One. So I launched it and it said disconnected from Xbox Live using the 360 titles, then when I was in the game I tried to sign into my Xbox Live it showed the 360 login screen which I selected to sign in and said sorry this profile can't connect to the Xbox live on this console. Now I just wondering if you are able to sign in for the backwards compatible games or its just you as a continue without save thing. Sorry just was able to find an answers for this. Thanks for any help!

Need help setting up two consoles.

How are both your units set as your "Home" console? You're only able to set one console as your "Home" console. When you sign in to one console, it will sign you out of the other. Which shouldn't disconnect you from Wi-Fi in general, but will disconnect you from Live, since you are no longer signed into an account. If this is what is actually happening then that's not an issue and is intended. You can only be signed into one console at a time.

If the issue is that one is actually losing network connectivity, then the only thing I can think of is your router is some how assigning them both the same IP. I would try manually assigning them an IP.

well are you signed in?

try disconnecting your console from xbox live and see what you can do. keep in mind when you sign in it will say cant connect to xbox live

Have you tried setting a static IP address for the two Xbox consoles? Might be a networking conflict with the two devices connected to the network, since you say the originial Xbox doesn't disconnect.

Also, do you use the Xbox App for Windows, iOS or Android? There are times where it's set to automatically connect to a console, and can sign you out of other consoles when that is initiated? I'm not sure what you're seeing when you say it disconnects
you at random times. Does it sign you out of your profile? Kick you from a game? Disconnect from Xbox Live, but keeps your profile signed in, or does it loose all internet connection?

Hi Misses Joust.... no, we were installing from a disc and it wouldn't move beyond 0%, and when I looked on the forums it said to disconnect from Xbox Live and the network and it would install, but when we were disconnected from Xbox Live and the network
it wouldn't, it kept saying Installation Stopped, please sign into Xbox Live.

I have a problem, my Xbox360 can connect to the modem and the internet but when I go to sign into my profile it disconnects from Xbox live and I get a message saying your console cannot connect to Xbox live and with it a small code saying 80151911. I tried
restarting my console, downloading my profile again, resetting the modem and disconnecting it from the Xbox. This has been happening the whole day.
