    Disconnecting from servers but NOT Xbox Live


    Hi all,

    I bought an Xbox One two weeks ago and the two games I have are unplayable online - Destiny and Fifa 15.

    I constantly disconnect from each game's servers but not Xbox Live. I'm really not sure where the problem lies - I play with a wired connection.

    Can anybody help please?

    I should also add I'm on Talk Talk internet and I have a DSL 3680 router.

    Can't sign in to my account.

    Yes not working, looks like live is down. If you disconnect the net connection it'll let you load your profile on the One but you cannot connect to the Live servers.

    Possible way to minimise lag issues

    I think iit has more to do with just disconnecting and reconnecting from live and the cod servers.

    There may be some times when resetting your "rooter" may be good, but if you are resetting the router, you are also making a new connection to the servers, so that may be where the benefit comes in..

    Unfortunately these are problems with the servers of these both games afaik and yet there is no real fix on this. They are not related to your Internet connection usually.

    Especially destiny divorces players for no known reason from time to time. There were an update list week to fix this but it still happens to players.

    Only thing known is that at least destiny uses an additional port, so if you are using portforwarding and not UPnp or DMZ you may give a try to forward port 1200 UDP additionally to the other ports.

    Just to clarify, you are only having issues connecting to the game servers, but are connected to LIVE fine, correct?

    Greetings, ANUBIS889. Thanks for following up about this. Just for extra information, are you being disconnected from the games, or are these disconnections from LIVE in general? Are you still in parties and chats once you are disconnected from the game

    I keep getting disconnected when I play destiny for 10-20 minutes.

    Are you getting disconnected from Live or from the game? If it is from the game then you would need to contact Bungie as there may be an issue with the servers.

    Hey there Anubis! I understand you are having some issues playing games on LIVE. I just want to clarify, are you being disconnected from the games, or from LIVE in general? Are you still in parties and chats once you are disconnected from the game server?

    If you are just being disconnected from the game server, it may be a bandwidth issue. To check, can you please go to
