Disconnecting from Live at a constant rate

Played at different times (weekend/weekday, day/night), timing has nothing to do with the disconnects. Anyone know if there's a direct way to contact MS about this?

 

Have you all tried deleting and redownloading your profile? It could be that some information on your profile is corrupt and it keeps kicking you from live because of it. A fresh download normally fixes the problem in a lot of the cases.

Also unplugging your router and/or modem for 30 seconds from the wall outlet and plugging it back in usually helps.

Its worth a shot.

360 Disconnect Solution Troubleshooter to see if we can get things sorted.

If trying out the troubleshooter above doesn't do the trick for you, please post back and let us know.

I've tried deleting then downloading my profile. It didn't help this problem. I also cleared the game cache. I've rebooted modem, router, both at the same time, separately, turned UPnP off, back on, DMZed the console, tried different DNS servers, no luck.
I have not tried the dead chicken waving but I'm happy to try that. Why not at this point?

This can have a lot of causes, and since you didn't provide a detailed description on how your console is connected (wireless or wired for example), I can only give a troubleshooting buckshot and hope something hits the target.

First, you should follow the suggestion of Grimnoc. But before you re-download your profile do clear the System Cache of your console (go to the far right to the settings hub, there go to the system tile in the upper left, then to the Storage options, highlight
any storage device and press the Y button. There choose to clear the system cache. Repeat that two more times for good measure). Then re-download your profile.

If that doesn't quite do the trick, check if your profile's security proofs is correct at the
website for profile security.

After you made sure your security proofs are correct, also check if your account is protected by Two Step Verification. If it
is enabled, make sure you create an app password for the next steps.

Back on your console, again go to the storage options, and at the screen where you choose your storage device, press the following combination: LB RB X LB RB X

Let the console do the maintenance, and again, clear the cache and re-download your profile. Remember to use the App Password if you have enabled the account protection with Two Step Verification.

If you still get disconnected, and your console is connected wirelessly, do yourself a favor and try to connect the console with an ethernet cable temporarily. It might be possible that a neighbor has a WLAN set on the same broadcast channel as your WLAN.
Or a new baby monitor. Or installed a wireless garage door opener. Or is just
craving Nachos with cheese and destroys your WiFi signal with their Microwave.

In case that you're connected with a cable, and you STILL get disconnected, start up your PC (that is also connected with an ethernet cable hopefully).

Open up a command prompt (on Windows press "Windowskey + R" then type "cmd" and press OK. On MacOS or Linux simply open a Terminal window).

In the command prompt type the following command:

ping www.google.com -t

(if you use MacOS or Linux, omit the -t option).

Then your PC should hopefully produce rows upon rows of numbers.

Now play on your console.

As soon as you get disconnected, look at your PC. Do the numbers significantly change or does the output change altogether?

Please report back with further information of your troubleshooting you did, and how your network is configured.
