Disconnecting from Live at a constant rate

Just like everyone else here, I keep getting disconnected from Live and there's no solution. I've done everything listed on the support page and nothing's helped. Sometimes I can connect right away, other times like today, I can't reconnect at all. I've
set my Xbox to a static IP, made sure NAT is open, opened the required ports and nothing works. At this point, and seeing everyone else's posts, I know this is a problem on Live's end but they won't fix it.

Is there possibly any solutions that I may have missed so I can use the service I PAY for?

Connecting to a internet hotspot via live can be hard as most are not meant to run something like live at a constant rate.

How am I lying?

My monitor refreshes 60 times per second.

I can lock frame rate to 30 frames per second via command console.

I can lock frame rate to 60 frames per second via command console.

I can see the difference between the game running at 30 fps and 60 fps.

You think my system is suffering from rate drops.

The frame rate tracker says my game is running at constant 30 fps when I lock it to 30.

The frame rate tracker says my game is running at constant 60 fps when I lock it to 60.

The frame rate tracker says my game is running at constant 299 fps when I don't lock the frame rate (it is unlocked by default).

The frame rate tracker disagrees with your hypothesis that my system is suffering from frame rate drops.

Where is the lie?

Yea, I've had this issue since March 5th. Honestly, as much as I would like to play Halo 5, PS4 is looking mighty fine right about now.

 

It may be your router being unable to handle all the traffic generated by the Xbox. Reboot your network hardware. Unplug, keep it off for 360 seconds, plug it back in.

 

This has never happened before and I've had the same modem/router for over two years.

Also, I'm assuming you mean 30 seconds right? Not 360?

 

Same problem continues for me. I DMZ'ed my Xbox 360 this morning. Last resort I guess. None of the other suggested fixes have helped at all. My son is about to throw the thing out the window. I'm seriously considering not renewing my Live account at this
point. I'm getting pretty fed up with this.

I doubt I'll even upgrade to Xbox One now. I'm looking more at the PS4. I want to use the Xbox to have fun and tune out for a while, not to do battle with constant connection problems with a service that costs $120 per year for me and the kid.

 

PS4 will run into similar issues, Think theyve been down as much if not more than Live

 

^^The issue started for me literally the day AFTER I resubbed so I'm stuck with Live for a year.

 

Well, it just got worse. I just went from being able to connect sporadically to not being able to connect at all. That PS4 is looking better and better. :|

 

Tus happened to me just recently and I just changed my password got back in to Netflix from where it kicked me out asked for me to reenter my new password got back in to Netflix and it did not signed me out again not sure if it fixed the issue but here's
hopping. sorry if I don't make much sense the general idea is change your password and see if works

 

Well it helped with the sign in but still can't download a thing

No... the only solutions to this problem are of the "wave a dead chicken" type. Random people try random things and the problem subsides, so obviously that random thing they tried is *the* solution to the problem.
