    Disconnecting from games/servers soon after joining them


    I am having issues where I am getting kicked out of games within 30 seconds of joining the server. It is happening with BF4 and FIFA 15. Non-EA games, I can't even connect to the multiplayer servers (eg. COD, Titanfall)

    I have restarted my router and xbox so many times without success. Any ideas?

    I own the game but it turned me away since so many "modders" joining games. Though I usually report them soon after and wish the creator would also kick them from game for breaking CoC. Once Minecraft makes it to XBLA this XBLIG will be dead.

    So are you complaining about the Xbox One or the EA servers that are disconnecting you?

    Your lag time on the net is too slow. Servers will kick you off for just that reason. Power down all your hardware (not reboot), then run a speed test (www.speedtest.net). If not working, call your ISP

    I play an open game and people join but frquently see the on screen message: lost connection to the host. (or some such message) Is the game prone to disconnection as some have "gone" soon after joining and it is not me having booted them and I cannot think
    that so many join then quit straight away?

    Frequent disconnects

    disconnecting from just the games i'm in. goes straight back to the menu and i can join another server no problem then it disconnects again after a few mins. Nothing else is affected in the house and isp says that if i can stream live films through the xbox
    without interruption(which i can) then it cant be them. ive tried all sorts of different settings on the router all to no avail. it is interesting though that my two mates are both on virgin fibre as i am and are both disconnecting from bf3 and black ops.
