Disconnecting for no reason

Discus and support Disconnecting for no reason in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I never did the reset, how likely is the chance it'll fix if I do that?     I never did the reset, how likely is the chance it'll fix if I do that? I didn't do it because if that doesn't work I'll be SOL because I can't stay online long enough to download my games and whatnot.

    This may sound weird, but it has worked for some other members of the community. Basically all you you have to do is log into the site on you computer. Then go to your profile and customize profile. Change a piece of clothing, save, and sign in on the xbox.
    I guess this works because it re synced the profile in a way. Anyways, give it a go.

    Have you tried doing a hard reset by pressing the power button on the console and holding until it beeps and turns off? Then turning back on?
