Disconnecting devices from xbox one s

For the last month my xbox would randomly disconnect from my wireless headset as well as any wireless controller that I had connected to it. The headset and controller for reference are Turtle Beach Stealth 600 Wireless Surround Sound Gaming Headset for Xbox One, and an Xbox Core Wireless controller. The controller simply disconnects and the light starts slowly flashing, and the headset simply disconnects and shuts itself off. I have since then taken the xbox apart and cleaned it, which seemed to fix the problem for about a week, but now it is back to disconnecting my devices every 30 seconds. I've read all the troubleshooting and possible solutions on this site so far, and nothing has worked, so I've finally broken down and created a question. Please help, I want to keep playing Xbox!

I have this exact same issue. It started after i updated my controller. mind you, my xbox one s is practically brand new. hardly ever used it til now. i’ve used it for gtaV only a handful of times. never had issues. now i have this constant disconnecting issue. i contacted xbox support, ran through all diagnostics and the final potential fix they provided me with, is to wipe the system of all OS and manually install new software using a PC & hard drive. i’ve switched controllers with friends, i’ve bought new controllers & returned them. i keep getting the same response from microsoft; either replace the controller (obviously doesn’t work, it’s a console issue) or replace the console. if i’m replacing a console, i’m switching to playstation cause this shouldn’t be happening on a barely used, basically brand new xbox. i’m trying a wired controller & if that doesn’t work i’m making the switch to Playstation. this is BS

Thanks for your reply. You mentioned that you have performed some troubleshooting steps already. Have you tried the option of resetting your console using the "Keep my games & apps" option?

Yes I have everything up to date. Xbox, controller, and headset.

Thanks for reaching out to the forums! Thanks for taking the time to troubleshoot your devices ahead of time. Before we begin any additional troubleshooting can I ask if both your controller and headset are updated to their latest firmware?

Unfortunately we are unable to provide much assistance in regards to self maintenance. Of course if you would like for the console to be repaired you would need to set this up through the
Device Support Self-Service site.

Remember that going with a self service option will Void warranty as stated in the

Xbox Support Terms & Conditions. Should your console run into any other issues Microsoft would not be able to provide any support for the console.
