Disconnecting controller

So I just got my Xbox back from getting it serviced and after updating everything again I noticed that my controller will frequently disconnect for no reason. The only way around it is to to use a USB cord. And the only way to fix it is to send it in and
wait another 2-3 weeks (maybe worse with Christmas shopping going on). Ive tried all the fixes on the Xbox support page and none have worked at all. I even went out and bought a new controller. Anyone have any suggestions.

Maybe related but I noticed the little red lights that used to glow through the front of the controller kind of like the Kinect lights stopped glowing.

My wirless controller keeps disconnecting; if i buy the rechargable cable batttery pack would able to play without the controll disconnecting

Welcome to the sad club of many owners with this annoying issue, send the system back for repairs and be ready to suffer for some time as most people as sometimes replacing the console does not fix the issue.

I just quit using my xbox because of this issue, worst thing is MS does not want to fix it.

You have to send your console in because MS cant fix the problem. You will get a refurbished console with every chance of it happening again.

There was a huge thread about it but it was locked along with most other threads relating to the problem.

Did you get your same console back just repaired, or did you receive a refurbished one?

It's a crapshoot sending your console in in the first place. Youre not the only one complaining that they now have new problems after service..

I'm supposed to get my console back tomorrow. It was sent in for not reading brand new blu rays, DVDs and controller disconnects.

Connecting the controller with a USB cable doesn't work,

Controller still disconnects even with a USB cable connected,

I have the same issue with Series X using mouse and keyboard for Call of Duty Vanguard.

I played during the beta and there was no problems with the controller disconnecting but as soon as the game released, the controller disconnects,

I've tried a Xbox One controller Series X controller, with batteries and a USB cable, and the controllers still disconnects.

I would recommend checking out the "Xbox One Wireless Controller disconnects or can't connect" page,

support.xbox.com/.../wireless-controller-disconnects. It lists a number of issues that could be causing the disconnection and solutions.

When you connect your controller it disconnect you from the internet?

I tried 2 controllers. Both are disconnecting. And when they're both connected, I can see that they disconnect at the same time.

Well, when I don't have any controller connected the Internet is disconnected too. When I stay on the Wi-Fi / Internet page, it says "No connection" with or without a controller connected. The controller is disconnected with the Internet, even when I don't
have a Internet connection set up.

I miss play GTA V...

Updates:

Paired both controllers to console at the same time. Both controllers lost and regain sync at the same time.

Paired Elite controller to iPhone. No disconnects.

Paired one controller to console and other to phone. Controller connected to console disconnected, controller connected to iPhone stayed connected.
